WEStation Guided Tour

This Computer Based Training (CBT) program for the Process Control Division (PCD) of Westinghouse Electric provides a complete understanding of the installation and use of a WEStation, UNIX-based hardware and software for plant control. Previously, PCD provided training by shipping an entire demo system and one of two system specialists around the world, as needed. The AiH Group produced a CBT program on CD-ROM that speeds the training of PCD's sales force, places demonstration materials in the hands of prospects and enhances the training of people who purchase the WEStation.

The main menu includes buttons for every module on the CD-ROM. A spinning 3D logo and music accompany the menu.

		The CBT uses video to demonstrate installation of the demo system.
A voiceover provides the narrative while 2D animation simulates every action a user might take while in the system.
