The Senator John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center is the new home of the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania. Through many services and programs, the Historical Society helps visitors learn about Western Pennsylvania's past and it's the history of Western Pennsylvania families, workplaces, and communities, the Historical Society has served the area since 1879.
