The Senator John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center is the home of the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania.

Since1879 the Historical Society has preserved the rich history of Western Pennsylvania.

Through the addition of the History Center, the Society helps visitors learn about Western Pennsylvania's past: our families, workplaces, and communities.
